BRANDON LAFFERMAN
President/Boys Basketball Director/Basketball Coach

Brandon Lafferman’s vision of Indiana Primetime Sports began while he was a student at Butler University. In 2007, he graduated from Butler with a degree in Physical Education and Health, and started the first Primetime Summer Football Camp with Ryan Cole. Over the next three years, Brandon worked as a Middle School Physical Education and Health Teacher, coached basketball and football, and continued to grow the Primetime name. In 2010, Brandon chose to leave his teaching career to pursue his dream of making Primetime a year round sports organization for young athletes to develop and have fun. With the help of an amazing staff of coaches, Brandon loves the opportunity to display his passion for sports and the lessons they teach, to all of the Primetime athletes.
In addition to teaching kids the fundamentals of sports, Brandon’s goal is for each athlete to leave each Primetime Sports experience feeling confident about themselves as a student-athlete and wanting more FUN! In addition to the coaching Brandon does for Primetime, he is also a Varsity Assistant Coach for the University High School Basketball Team. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys playing golf and basketball, traveling, and watching football.
RYAN COLE
Football Director/Basketball Coach/Fitness Director

Ryan Cole is from Mishawka, IN and attended Penn High School where he was a part of a state championship football team in 2000. Ryan was named to the All-State Defensive Team as a Junior and was named to the IFCA All State Team as a Linebacker his Senior season. He was also an All Area and All Conference award winner. In addition to football, Ryan excelled in rugby at Penn, winning back to back state titles and the honor of being named Indiana’s Mr. Rugby in both 2002 and 2003. After high school, Ryan continued playing football at Butler University as a Defensive Back. Ryan graduated from Butler in 2008, with a degree in Physical Education and Health.
After spending the last three years coaching football and teaching at Garrett High School, Ryan has returned to Indianapolis and is excited about working with all of the Primetime athletes. Ryan is also starting his first season as the Brebeuf High School Head JV Football Coach. Ryan brings an exceptional background in football, fitness, and basketball to Indiana Primetime Sports, and played an enormous role in starting the company in the summer of 2007. In addition to being a basketball coach and running the Primetime Football Camp and Training Groups, Ryan has recently started a Primetime Fitness Program, and hopes to continue to build Indiana Primetime Sports into providing the best youth sports experiences in Indiana.
CHRIS VAN DEN BERG
Boys Basketball Assistant Director/Basketball Coach

Chris Van Den Berg is originally from Wisconsin, where he attended Viterbo University in LaCrosse and was a 2 year letter winner on the Viterbo basketball team. Chris is currently a 4th grade teacher at Mohawk Trails Elementary in Carmel. Chris spent six seasons as a Varsity Assistant/JV coach with the boys basketball program at Carmel High School before playing a huge role in starting the Primetime Boys Basketball Program. Currently, Coach V coaches a few of the boys elementary level travel basketball teams, runs training groups, and is a head coach at the Summer Basketball Camp every summer. Chris enjoys playing and coaching basketball as often as he can. He hopes to be able to share his knowledge and love for the game with young athletes. His goal is to teach kids to enjoy basketball so that it is a game that they can play throughout their lives.
JUSTIN BLANDING
Girls Basketball Director, Basketball Coach

Justin has been involved in basketball at numerous levels since his youth. As successful as he was as a player, he is even more successful in molding young athletes into sound, competitive players. His understanding of the game exceeds that of many of his peers and most coaches his age. Constantly on the lookout for the next innovation in offense or defense, he is quick to learn it and then adapt it for use by his team. He runs a college-style practice and generates much respect from his players. On the sidelines, he is adept at managing game situations while still coaching those on the bench. His players believe … and they execute. Coach Blanding is very excited about joining the Primetime Boys Basketball Coaching Staff and serving as the Girls Basketball Program Director.
JUSTIN SCHNEIDER
Football Coach/Basketball Coach/Fitness Coach

Justin Schneider is originally from Northeastern Wisconsin and has lived in Indiana for the past 9 years. He attended Ball State University, where he was a 4-year starter on the offensive line for the Cardinals. He is currently in his fourth year as an elementary Physical Education teacher. On top of teaching, Justin coaches football at the high school level, working with Offensive Lineman. He also enjoys playing basketball and weightlifting in his free time. Justin hopes to use his personal playing and coaching experiences to enhance the abilities of each athlete, so that they can play the game to the best of their abilities and have fun while doing so.
QUENTIN BROWN
Baseball Coach

Coach Brown is originally from Kokomo, Indiana where he graduated from Western High School. As a player for WHS, he was a 3-time All-State selection, and in his Senior year was named to the North-South All-Star game. Coach Brown was also a member of the Area Code Games in Long Beach California.
He received a scholarship to play baseball at IPFW where he was a 4-year starter.
Coach Brown played in the Great Lakes League, a premier college baseball summer league, for the Grand Lake Mariners where he helped lead the team to a league championship. He later became a grad assistant coaching for IPFW. From 2009 through 2010 Coach Brown coached J/V and Varsity baseball at Garrett HS. Coach Brown has since moved back to his hometown of Kokomo where he teaches and coaches at his alma mater of Western High School.
Coach Brown has been working as a personal baseball instructor for the past five years and was the head coach of the FW Cubs 16U team for 3 years where he has seen 12 players go on to receive scholarships to play college baseball.
ROD HAYWOOD
Basketball Coach

Coach Rod Haywood is an experienced basketball and football youth coach with over 20 years working with student-athletes and their families. As a former first team Indiana All-State selection, and Bloomington-Herald Top 33 Football Team Member, Coach Haywood was recruited and mentored by members of the Harbaugh Family Coaching Team at Western Michigan University, where he spent two years in the program as a quarterback. As a second team Indiana all-state basketball selection, Coach Haywood served as team captain at Butler University where he was selected as the team’s most valuable player following his senior campaign. Coach Haywood’s coaching and training experience help him to work with student-athletes to assist them in obtaining a better understanding of the work ethic and planning which goes into a successful career in academics and athletics. Coach Haywood served Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business as a Senior Lecturer in Business Communication and as a faculty advisor to the Indiana University Football Program. Coach Haywood holds the degree of Juris Doctor. An expert in basketball defensive philosophies, Rod’s coaching and training intensity help players reach their potential at every developmental phase.
CULLEN WEBSTER
Basketball Coach

Cullen Webster was a three-sport athlete in high school. He attended University High School where he ran track and cross-country and played basketball. He now coaches cross-country and basketball at University. He attends IUPUI and is a secondary education major specializing in history. Cullen believes in using competitive sports as a developmental tool with kids. He treats the playing field like a classroom and enjoys showing kids how what you learn in sports can relate to other aspects of your life.
